Help Porting C Programs, Utilities, etc.. from HP-UX

Hello Linux Gurus,

First, I'm a

! In fact, this is going to be my first project on Linux.

I need to port a product written in C from HP-UX to Linux (v2.4).
Can you please advise me where I can find tools and tips to successfully complete this project? Possibly documentation on feature and compiler differences between the two systems, things to watch for, tips, etc..

Since I'm VERY new to Linux, any information would be very useful, helpful and appreciated!

Hi, and welcome to LQ!

Since both OS's should be pretty much posix
compliant you shouldn't have too much to worry.

I'd suggest you go ahead and start doing, and
as problems arise come back and ask :)
