Question help please w/ azureus

ok im new to and im learning as i go but i cant figure this one out. im try to run azureus but i keep getting this error:

Attempting to start Azureus...
./azureus: line 52: java: command not found

when i look at the azureus Shell script at line 52 i see :

${JAVA_PROGRAM_DIR}java -cp $CLASSPATH -Djava.library.path="${AZDIR}" org.gudy.azureus2.ui.swt.Main "$1"

what i all this mean and what do i have to fill in ?

You need to set your JAVA_HOME path. Did you #1: install JRE? #2: add the JAVA_HOME to your .bash_profile?

And besides... Az sucks up resources, ramping up its memory usage over time. I'd recommend the default BT client written in Python.
