I am trying to install CenterICQ IM on my linux account(not as root) and when I run "./configure --prefix=/home/my_account_name/centericq" it it is going well. But when I try to compile using the command make, it is shooting an error that it cannot find ncurses.h. Then I've installed ncurses package on my account successfully. I've tried to trecompile centerICQ again after adding the ncurses binaries to the PATH, but it is still shooting the same error. Can anyone help me successfully install centerICQ?

Which package did you install...? You'll need one that'll supply the ncurses.h file itself, eg. the libncurses5-dev.deb developers package under debian. Installing only the standard versions won't a great deal if you want to compile a program from source.
