help needed using the putty tool
 

hello friends

i have one system using the o.s redhat linux 9.0 having a public ip

and another system having public ip and o.s is winxp and in that i have

putty tool installed now i want to access the linux box using the putty

please give step by step approach to establish the connectivity

between the two systems

i.e in ssh or telnet etc.

1) put putty short cut on desktop
2) enter the ip of linux box in the text box
3) select ssh below
4) click open :)

it will popup a window click YES
5) login :)

you have to be sure that you are running ssh or telnet services where you want to connect to.
