I'm trying get Mythbuntu to detect my DISH settings. Let me explain: I have installed a hauppauge 1250 tuner in my computer and did a fresh install of mythbuntu. The DISH receiver, the VIP722k, resides in the living room, where it sends a signal to the cable ( no receiver necessary in that room ) to channel 73. Whenever I do a scan for channels, MythTV reports that it failed to find any. How can I get MythTV to detect channel 73?

Here are my current settings:

Capture Card
DVB DTV capture card (v3.x) (automatically points to /dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0)

Video Source Setup
Name : Hauppauge
Listings Grabber : ( North America ScheduleDirect.org, username and password are filled in )

Connect Source to Input
Video Source : Hauppauge

Use Quick Tuning : Never

Then I fetch channels from listing. Sometimes it takes a while, sometimes it's quick, but it never fills out the starting channel.

When I quit, it always says that the starting channel is invalid, but I quit anyway, and then I'm prompted with a password and then asked if I want to run mythfilldatabase. I choose yes. When it's done, I open the MythTV Frontend and select Watch TV, and I'm flashed a "please wait" screen and then back to the menu. What Am I doing wrong?
