HELP!!! KDE 3.1 won't load on my Debian 3.0r1 system.

Help!!!!!!!!
KDE 3.1, specifically kdm, will not load on my system.
Only Window Maker or something will load.
I'm seeing a lot of funny new text at startup too.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
By the way, when I try to load kdm, it blanks out and returns to login.

Can you get the excess data?
The errors, an error log, something like that =(

Also, I notice that when I open KDE Apps such as konsole, with the exception of the OS X window decorations I added as the titlebars, my baghira theme is used.
Note: As a substitute environment and window manager, I'm using X Window System and IceWM (Infadel theme, of course!

Would upgrading my KDE help?
Do I need a fresh KDE installation (argh, that's a pain in the neck)?
