Help installing xfree86 4.1 on LFS
 

Hi guys

I,m trying to install 4.1 on my new LFS system (got the floppy working :) ) but I,m not having much luck.

I downloaded the correct Xinstall.sh script and run it to obtain the correct packages to download, I then downloaded them and run it again to install, excepting the default answers.

Rebooted, but when I run XFree86 -configure it doesnt work unless I type in its full dir path? I thought ldconfig would solve this but it doesnt? any idea,s? and when it does run it exits on an error 11?

Also the xf86config doesnt work at all?

Its ok guys I sorted it lmao

I had to insmod r128.o and it worked

Although I thought the kernel automatically loaded the modules when it needed them? how can I get this to happen at boot?
