help installing this
 

How do i install a " rpm.bin " file?
Its a java plugin for netscape/mozilla and it said it was self extracting but when i click on it, it opens and I see the programming code of the file.

well you have to make a bin file executable with chmod +x filename.bin but since you mentioned that this is the java plugin for you browser i'll make it alot easier for you and point you to this thread

Thanks for the link but nothing there is working.

I managed to get java installed i just need to get mozilla to use the plugin. I tried the line in the link and modified it for my version but it did not work.
