Help installing avifile..please

I'm having problems installing avifile. I do the ./configure, everything is ok here ( i checked the output). I do make and everything SEEMS to be all right still. When i do make install the compilation goes really fast and the output is:

"Entering directory /xxx/xxx/xxxx"
"Nothing to be done for 'filename' "
"leaving directory /xxx/xxx/xxxx"

it says that for everything. I don't understand. Its almost as though the make wasn't done properly so it can' finsish compiling. Any ideas?

If it's already built then it won't build it again. If you want it to rebuild do a make clean first and then a make.
