Help install CentOS

My friend downloaded and burned CentOS 4. He wants to use it as a second boot option (dual boot).

In the installation process, there are options for "Manual Partition" and "Auto Partition", which one should he do? and what does he do after that?

Is CentOS some new distro of Linux or something? I would just do the autopartition option and it should be pretty self explanatory after that. If it asks you where you want to install the bootloader make sure you put it in the Master Boot Record or "MBR". This is where most PCs look first for boot information so you want to put your bootloader there.

CentOS is a redhat clone.

On the installer there is a help button for every page, click that and read what is offered. I assume your new to this, so just accept the defaults the redhat/installer offers and you *shouldn't* go too far wrong
