Help! I screwed up a server!

So I figured while I was hitting up other sites trying to find other information regarding the issue that I am currently having with a video server.

Now I am not too familiar with all the configurations of the server. I know it had 5 harddrives in it, one with the operating system and the other for in a RAID configuration. It has two SATA-MV8 cards and the OS is CentOS 4.4. I added four more drives this morning with the intention of having a second RAID configuration. When I added the four drives and booted the system one drive wasn't initializing. So I tried the drive in various configurations however, still landed at the same spot (the drive wouldn't initialize).

So I took that drive out and tried booting the system with the original drives only. The bios sees the drives however, when it gets into CentOS I get the following error

Code:

fsck.ext3 invalid argument while trying to open dev md0
Any thoughts?

So far it doesn't look good. Though I am hoping that the data is still on the drives.

Fixed. Thanks. All this time and the card wasn't seated properly.

Wait... when you say card wasn't seated properly, what kind of card? only card that I can think of, off of the top of my head that could produce that kind of error is a hardware raid card... which would ask the question why is it using software raid?
