May help

Try this

Code:
tar -xvf <name of file>
That will extract the files and then you should have a how to in the directory it creates. That should tell you how to install the package.

Hope that helps

But I can't read chinese. Pretty symbols though.

If he or she untarrs the package there should be a read me that will have the installation instructions. He will need that since some are different command steps.

Since he wrote in english I assumed he could read the response to.

What now??

Talking LOL! thanx!

Well, thanx guys... what linux are you guys running?
I dono if I stated in previous form, but I'm running mandrake... is this a good one or no?
I was told if I was a newbe to linux, it would be best to start with mandrake...true or false?lol
well it doesn't really matter I guess, cuz I am starting to get a hang of it.. also with mandrake I can switch between system I gues you would call it .... I can use KDE, ICE -----, Gnome.... I forget the names but there somthing like that... I clicked in to some of them and noticed a bit of a diffrence, but not much, is there a major use for them?
or just user prefrence?

well thanx for the help.... talk to you laterzZ
