help! fetchmail not working properly, loosing emails fast!

I setup a mail gateway using fetchmail, it checks every 15 minutes. So for example if I have an email user "user" and pass "pass" and server "mail.iceteks.com" it fetches the mail and puts it in the account called "email_user" locally, so in my pop3 settings on my machine I use my local server's name and info. Usually it will download the emails, but right now for some stupid reason, it only does it when it wants. I have a bunch of emails sitting on the server but when I check using my pop3 client it says there's no mail. What the hell??? This seems to be an on and off problem.

On another of my accounts, all the mail get's redirected to the root account. This is a lan server so no, it's not hackers screwing my settings. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks!
