help doftware that will copy video cd contents

do anyone have software that will allow to copy avseq01.dat on linux system?? i can play video cd with xine now perfectly but if i want to copy dat file i am getting input/output error.

And did you try just 'dd if=/dev/cdrom of=whatever bs=65535'? Maybe also add noerror. If after burning the resulting iso you'll get everything working (check all the length of the film, maybe by increasing speed to view all and randomly checking pieces at normal speed) it's just fate not to be able to play it. It happens with cd's.
