Help Configuring Firewire External HD


Hi Guys,

I have a new Western Digital External HD with both USB and Firewire options. I need some help configuring my Linux server to support firewire.

modprobe ohci1394
FATAL: Module ohci1394 not found.
FATAL: Module raw1394 not found.

modprobe raw1394
FATAL: Module raw1394 not found.

It would help to know what linux distribution / version you are running since it appears that it does not have the modules prebuilt.
