help a newbie apply php 4.2.2 patch!
 

PHP friends, I'm sure you know about the 4.2.2 patch to fix POST vulnerability.

I re-downloaded the 4.2.1 source. I applied the patch to the source. I reconfigured, did a make, and then a make install. I restarted apache. No errors.

Why does phpinfo say I'm still 4.2.1?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

i had the same problem and ended by compiling again the whole php on apache
i did twice and now it works
