Hello i want to run a program in linux, the prog is an inventory prog runs in windows. i want to put a linux server and run that prog so any on can help me :confused:

Either run it in something like Wine, Win4Lin or vmWare or try to find an alternative of the program that is Linux native are you only choices.

Also, in the future try to make more helpful thread titles instead of just help. It helps members when searching and browsing to know what your problem is covering.

You can find wine at www.winehq.org as its free. Win4Lin is found at www.netraverse.com but is not free as is vmWare isn't either. Your best option is if you really want this app to run in Linux, try maybe wine first, but it can be a bit unstable at times or won't work. Win4Lin and vmWare are like running Windows within Linux, like a virtual operating system. Try doing a search on vmWare, can't remember its site off my head.
