help


I need to know how to uninstall linux. I am very computer illiterate so make it as easy as possible. I am going to install win xp. I am not sure what linux system i am running. I have also saw to use the fdisk tool but I cannot understand how to make that work

Boot from your Windows XP CD, you'll be able to delete your Linux partitions before proceeding with the installation. That's all you really need to do. When you reinstall Windows, it'll overwrite the MBR so you don't have to worry about removing GRUB or LILO.

Please, use more descriptive thread titles in future.

The only problem is that I can't use my disk. I cant figure out how to make it work. If I reset the computer with the disk in it says press any key to boot from disk then when i hit a key I get nothing but a blank screen. I had that for 8 hours. If i insert disk from my and try to start it it wont or i dont know how
