helllp how to learn linux?
 
hello all
please i am new here
and i need to know every thing about linux
means instsallin programin and adding devices
drivers partitioning
working with other systems
what programs doing what
all thing and every thing about the software
i have Fedora Core3
and i instaled it but i don't know how it works

by the way i work as computer technical and i have 12 year of experience in all microsoft software
sure i have a good base of hardware and hardware/software problem solutions
but i didn't use Linux b4
also iam planing to make an arabic hand book translated for linux
to help other egyptian ppl to know it and work with it
but i need to know it well 1st

so any one can help me with an online books or lessons please send me information about that

Try using:

man <program you would like to find more info about>
./configure
make
make install

That should get you going in the wonderful world of linux.

Don't forget about all the documentation stored on /usr/share/doc! This directory usually contains very valuable information about the packages installed on the system. It may differ on some distros and be under /usr/doc or something similar.
