hi i just wanna know if there is any program for linux which can encrypt hdds or make new encrypted hdds in a file which u can mount ....

on windows there is drivecrypt and bestcrypt

You've got several options for doing this. The ones that come to mind immediately are:
- loopback encryption
- crypto file system (cfs)
- rubberhose

check out these sites, im using loop-aes under 2.4.22 to mount an encrypted
100MB file.
