HCL Crap

The Hardware Compatibility List aka (This OS is so user friendly we don't want you to mess up ANYTHING)
is horrible. I can't even install Windows XP on a standard Maxtor 120GB (122) hard drive. Edit it out of your bios and bam, windows XP "installs" just about untill the error message where it tells you you don't have a hard drive! (GASP!)

ANyway to override the stupid HCL and actually install Windows XP? Please, don't give me the "REmove the hardware" jokes.
