I have seen several similar threads but I seem to have a different problem. I have installed captive and altered fstab but when I try to mount captive-ntfs I get an error:

/usr/libexec/captive-fusermount: mount failed: Invalid argument

/usr/bin/fusermount: No such file or directory

/sbin/fusermount: No such file or directory
/usr/libexec/captive-fusermount: Success

Does fusermount need to be edited?
If you have any ideas please help im a newbie to linux.

I figured out how to mount windows so that I could read it from my user and not just root using the 'mount' command and editing fstab to include This works for me, although, rw would be nice.
