well, i recently installed SuSE 10 on my notebook (HP Pavillon zv6000) useally i would use a nvidia card for linux but i cant do this on my notebook so i'm stuck whit ATI. So, i followed the instructions on ATI's web site and when i rebooted my computer the screen went black so i had to reinstall, tryed it another time and it did the same problem. So now i'm stuck whit an decent ATI card whit no drivers for it. Would anyone have an website or know how to install them whitout screwing up my computer.
btw it's an ATI Mobility x200 (128 meg of video memory)...if that helps in any way, and it's got to be 64 bit drivers also
It is doing what ATI does a lot. Try my website's instructions below. The problem is in the configuration file it builds for your monitor. When the settings are wrong, it boots to black screen, and you are stuck in terminal only.
