having problem with proftpd


I am using fedora core 5. I want configure this as a ftp server.So pls give me step by step of installation and configuration procerss.

1) RTFM - www.proftpd.org

2) Install Proftpd using Yum.

3) Configure which ports on your firewall need to be opened.

4) Come back and ask questions when you have got problems
