you need to actually provide useful information if you want help. You've not even said what the problem is.

You need to describe what your problem (with your technology) is. Also, what VMware product are you using? Workstation, ESX, Fusion? I have a few openSUSE 11.3 and 11.4 VMs that I run with VMware Workstation w/ no problems whatsoever.

Generally it is one of the best.

See susestudio maybe to create a pre-made vm.
