Have anyone used unrtf
 

Hello
Have anyone sucessfully used UNRTF.I have installed and complied this utility from the root directory.Now i do not no how to use it now for its purpose i.e to convert RTF files to HTML format.The manual which describe its usage is not clearly degined.If i run UNRTF filename i get gile not found.Can anyone help me out in this issue.

The man page seems clear enough.

unrtf [options] [file....]

anything between [] is optional. And the file.... means it can be one file or a list of files. So just running the following command should work:

unrtf myfile.rtf

Ofcourse you should make sure the location of the unrtf file is in your path and that the x bit is set.

What do u mean by setting the "x" bit i am Linux newbie so please can u expalin to me in detail
