Has anyone tried Etcher a new way to burn iso's to sd/flash drives

I heard about this on the linux action show. Chris gave it a positive review. Etcher has safe guards to identify sd/flash drives so it won't wipe your main hard drives. It's opensource and is cross-platform for linux, macs and windows.

Of course, if the iso I downloaded is hybrid. I use dd and that works just fine.

Had not heard of it or tried it, but I see that it uses AppImages for the Linux downloads! very slick!

Same here until LAS mentioned it. I also never heard of AppImages.
