I have pluged the and controller card and autoloader to the RH server , but I found that the server recognize it as a wrong model , so I would like to re-do the recognize , except unplug the hardware , how can I remove the record in the server , and then re-do the recognize ?

First, this should probably be in Hardware. Second, you need to give a lot more information than that...such as, what is the hardware that isn't being recognized properly?

the hardware works fine as I tried it on other server , the card is HP lsi interface card that pluged onto the pci slot ..

How to configure my network , my server using xp sp2 , I would like to use the server as (linux) O/S Ubuntu or Suse and the work station using xp sp2 , please guide me how to configure the server and which protocol have to use is 192.168.0.1 okayed.
