Question harddisk & network status

Hi at all,
Im using linux in my company for the cvs server...
To find out where a bottle neck could be it is not sufficient to see only the cpu status via the command 'top'.
Well, I search for a tool which lets me have a look at the harddisk and network efficiency. Do you know whether there are some tools? it should be for free...

please let me know...
