hard disk problem

hello all there,

Recently i bought a new 40gb seagate hard disk.
As my computer bios is 3 years old it didn't regognized the hard disk. Although i did managed to install rhl7.2 on my system but i'm booting the system from a startup disk. Is there any way i can boot normally. My hard disk is also not showing full capacity in the sys info program.

Did you receive any errors while installing rhl 7.2 . I just installed rhl 7.1 on my Compaq deskpro 2000 and I received an error at the very end that instructed me to create a boot disk. I was wondering the same thing. What must I do to have it boot normally????
