hello i would like your help
im a newbie on linux suse 10
im looking for a program that allows me to explore sectors on my HDD
like a SCANDISK, but one that can actually fix bad sectors or at least mark them...

i have couple of bad sectors and sometimes my kde3 just freeze

hope you can help me i just neeed a program or command name and small instructions if it isnt that much trouble.
