PC Hangs after installation of FC-4
I am Facing This Problem When I upgraded My PC configration from
old Configuration ------------------- P-IV 2.66 Ghz, Intel D101 motherboard, 1 GB DDR (Ram), 40 GB PATA Hard Disk. New configuration ------------------- P-IV 2.8 Ghz dual core, Intel D946GZis motherboard, 1 GB DDR2 (Ram), 80 GB PATA Hard Disk. i tried installing Linux RedHat 9 it was installed Succesfully, but when i tried to install Linux Fedora core-4 it was Giving "PCI Bus Error" i tried install with LINUX PCI=NOMMCONF . Linux Got installed but after installation it ask for Reboot, PC Reboot's and is Stucked in "Loading Linux Extracting Linux ..." can u help me in this matter ? what are recomended (intel)MotherBoard For Linux AS-4 ? pls get me some Way out, as i also want to install oracle9i on that Linux .... At first you may try to boot from a live cd. maybe use Knoppix.
If your computer boots with out a problem everything is fine. Do you need RedHat 9 or FC4, i suggest to use a recent version (of RH i don't know what's the latest, but FC would be FC7) |
