Half Life for Linux?

Possible? I mean, if Quake3 is out for Linux, think HL will get there? Or is it already?

I mean, come on, even America's Army made it to Linux....

There is a half-life dedicated server for linux, check their website.

Half-life runs fine in WINE though. Search google for a "Half-life WINE how-to"

who knows if a linux port of half-life will ever happen....in april 2001 Valve had said in a press conference that they were secretly working on a linux port...so as you can see we still don't have that copy of half-life for linux so i wouldn't hold your breath waiting for it...so as stated, you'll have to run it with wine(x) as it does run amazing, and i haven't had a problem yet..

Half life 2 is coming out in a month, so I doubt it.

Maybe it will have a Linux version, like Doom 3 though (we can dream).

Once HL2 comes out, I'll need to make sure that the new computer I get will have a 128MB video card....

DrOzz 09-07-2003 11:31 AM

yah i will say the minimum requirement is going to be a 32meg card, with a 64meg recommended...

America's Army says min is 64, 128 is recommended. What's it for DoomIII? Min 128, 256 recommended?
