Gyach 1.06, nothing happens when click "login"

I installed Gyach v 1.06 (latest version) and i run it via console. I enter my login info and password and click Login and nothing happens

in the colsole it says

Use of deprecated SAXv1 function endElement

Anyone know whats going on?

AFAIK gyach is a yahoo chat client that runs on gtk stuff in X11, so you'd have to run it after starting X.

If you want to rather use CLI try zinc (that's what I use) or curphoo.

Also gyach is not what I'd call stable and seems to have problems logging on lately, probably yahoo fiddling around again.

*turns all red* I found my problem , apparently, you have to select a yahoo server to log onto...it doesnt automatically do that

Im using Gyach because it has yahoo avatar support
