guidance and idea for Mediawiki configuration in centos 5.6
 

I'm planning to install media wiki in a centos(5.6)server so that the staffs could upload their technical stuffs so that it could be easier for new ones and also for future reference(documentation).

Now i have installed centos 5.6 in the server and want to install media wiki 1.19 and will be installing php53(hope that would work) and also the required MySQL.

Now i wanted to know after installing media wiki how should i go about it?how are we going access the media wiki server and upload files in it?

or do we need to host that in a web server?i don't think that's required as it itself is a web server..

So can anyone help me please?i don't find anything in the Google either.

i was really confused with the creation of database and was thinking how to create user and password by just installing the MySQL and MySQL server..now got it,i should be installing phpmyadmin also..

Will get back to you or the forum on this same thread if i have problem accessing the phpmyadmin and creating the user..
