GUI Terminal Emulation

Greetings!

I'm looking for some kind of Linix based GUI Terminal Emulator. (Currently I use Konsole)

I perform the same tasks quite often while connected to another machine (ssh/telnet) and therefore would like to automate these and activate them using a GUI button on the menu bar.

As a rough example I would like to have a button called 'Foo' on the Emulators menu bar which would send the keypresses 'Macrn60<return>' to the current session.
(There is *no* need to wait for one action on the remote machine to complete and then send the next keypress as they are cached by the remote machine.)

Gentoo 2.6x / KDE 3.2.x / x86

Any ideas?

Cheers and Thanks ..... Svha
