GUI generator for command line programs?
Over a year ago (I think) I came across a Linux program that you pass a description of a command line program and it's options and it generates and loads a GUI for running that command line program. At the time I had no use for it but now I am looking for that program again. I cannot remember what it is called and all my searches on sourceforge, freshmeat, and through google have so far turned up nothing.

Does anyone know what this program (or others like it) is called and where I can get it?

Thanks in advance.

I'm also interested in this. Have you found out what was the name of this program or maybe you've found that there are some others similar to it? Hope to get any answer.

I doubt there even exists such a thing. Even if there was, it would just make it more complicated and you would end up just typing the command in a terminal or even making a cron job/script if it was a repetative command.

Look at the date on the original post. It's seven years old.

Look at the date of post #2.

switch ( post )
case (there was a post about this many years ago)    : func ( use the search button noob ) : break;
case (this is an old post so I'm going to ignore it) : func ( try posting a new one ( with maybe the same title and question )); break;
      default                                        : func ( try and offer some type of help );
