GUI Firewalls

I'm not quite sure how iptables and all that stuff really works. I know I can configure my firewall to specify it to allow certain ports and other stuff but I really would like to see what's coming in and out of my connection in real-time.

An example of a Windows application that does exactly what I'd like to see would be "Agnitum's Outpost Firewall Pro". I really like that firewall when I used Windows.

If there's something similar that I can use, suggestions would be appreciated.

As far as a firewall, ipTables are nice. But if you want a firewall with a GUI , I like firestarter.
