guarddog test result oddities

when iwas running mandrake 9.1 with guarddog installed, all port scans by both blackcode/scan and shields up came back with 100% stealth

now I'm running 9.2 i'm getting ports closed but no stealthed

the configuration of guarddog is identical

any ideas?

does it even matter?

i've done a little digging on this site and found various opinions that as long as the ports aren't open that that is basically ok

was just curious as to the difference between distro versions
