GuardDog problems

OK I wanted to protect my computer a bit, but guard dog has some problems and locks the Internet so tight I can`t do anything without disabling the firewall completely. If anyone used Guard Dog and had same problems(and solved them which is more important!

!), or knows a solution to my please let me know.
PS. I have 2.4 kernel on Mandrake 10.0 Community.

I've used guarddog on and off for the best part of a year and have never had any problems with it.

How are you configuring it?

Acutaly I check the http,ftp,https some pop3, smtp and few chat protocols but it just locks everything up, no traffic. When I disable firewall it wont work

. It says that the Mail or Web server unreachable!
PS. Could this be related to my kernel version I have 2.4 and I think 2.6 is the one you have? Am I correct?

Don't forget to enable DNS for the internet zone otherwise everything will stop working unless you are only using IP addresses.
