GTK themes not showing up until I go into GNOME control panel
I'm using Debian (testing), gdm, and fluxbox.

When my computer boots and gdm shows up it is using the default GTK theme. If I go into Fluxbox it is still using the default theme until I go into the gnome control panel in the themes setting; then it remembers and applies my theme. If I go into Gnome, however, it is applied automatically.

Do you know a way to make my GTK theme show up when gdm first starts?

Thanks for the help.

Look for a tool called gtk-theme-switch. Once installed make sure you choose the default gtk theme as the one you chose for GNOME.

Using gtk-theme-switch has more themes than the Gnome control panel, but they're the same theme selection that I have when I click 'theme details' in the gnome control panel.

It uses the default theme no matter what I'm using for all of my other GTK apps; my control panel changes that affect everything else don't affect it.

Also, even if I pick a different theme in gtk-theme-switch and click preview, it's still the default theme, and clicking apply has no effect.
