gstreamer installation problem

I am running fedora8 on a acer laptop.
It had gstreamer 0.10.6 installed and I wanted the photo booth application called cheese.
However, cheese installation complained it needed gstreamer 0.10.10 or higher. So I did a yum install gstreamer and that only upgraded gstreamer base and gstreamer tools package and left out the other plugin packages - gstreamer-plugins-good, gstreamer-plugins-bad, gstreamer-plugins-ugly.
The result is my gstreamer based applications are broken now. Nor can I use gst-launch.
I wish to upgrade gstreamer fully to 0.10.10 version, but there are no rpms available. Can someone suggest the way out ?
thanks in advance
nishith
