gst-launch, monochrome black-and-white output
 

We are generating video output with gst-launch. On one Ubuntu Server (9.04), the output is ok with colors. On the other, Ubuntu 10.04 Amazon EC2, the output is black-and-white. Exactly the same command.

I was wondering if gstreamer needed a video card to generate video output that is not displayed onscreen ?

Could it be something else ?
