I try to install gscanbus, but I get an error message -
gscanbus needs GTK

I checked and GTK installed on my machine.

What should I do?

First off...what distribution of Linux? Ram, processor, etc...if you are running Linux Mandrake then su'd as root do... urpmi gscanbus...and it will prompt if you want to install all the dependencies...should be about the same for Deb other than using apt-get gscanbus...... it is possible that GTK is installed, but another addon to GTK is missing... Good Luck
