Grub vs LILO, who wins the ultimate fight on my computer?

Here's what my situation is:

I ran RH7.3 so that I could get Slack9.0 files on my computer so I could install Slack9 via hard drive vs CD since none of my CD's I burnt worked. In the process of putting RH7.3 on, I had to install Grub because for some reason LILO wouldn't work with my computer, although it worked well enough for Slack8.1 before I messed up the computer royally.

Once I got Slack9 installed after I took RH7.3 off, I rebooted. During the install I told LILO to install in my /dev/hda(2?), not sure if I said whether the drive or partition, whichever is default. But when I installed RH7.3, I installed Grub on my MBR. Now when I boot, Grub pops up, but just hangs there because it has no commands. How can I have LILO take control and remove Grub completely from my computer? As of now I have to use boot disks to start up my computer properly.

To use lilo you have to edit the file /etc/lilo.conf and ut your operating systems there and whent you are done you have to run
/sbin/lilo as root to write the changes to the MBR
