GRUB trashed Win2K Boot Sector. AHH!

I have tried REPAIR both from console and automatic off the Win2000 boot floppies I made. But the drive still won't boot. I get the idiotic error:

GRUB error loading:

or previously NTLDR missing.

Copying files, booting from another drive and using the Disk Manager console also didn't help. Man, I hate it when this happens. Everytime I install windows, of course I have to spend days upgrading and installing useful software like PHOTOSHOP etc. I really don't want to have to wipe part of the drive and start all over again.

Yes, the Windows 2000 version of a rescue floppy is totally bogus. It is not bootable, there is no commandline, and only a couple of files are stored on the floppy. I am still struggling to save my 3 day install + files. I don't want to wipe the system yet.
I have tried installing a co-system but it still won't boot.

Grub _should_ be able to boot win2k for you, if you could post the layout of your partitions is should be possible to get you up and running again.

Mad.
