GRUB serial configuration

I am trying to configure GRUB for the following :

I want that on boot , GRUB should always authenticate the password via a serial terminal and then only proceed with booting . I want that on boot , GRUB should automatically look for the password from the serial terminal {without user intervention so that I can use it for monitor-less PCs} .

Will I need to modify the GRUB source for the same ?

Thanks and Regards,
