GRUB problem installing RHEL on IBM server

Hi

I am trying to install RHEL6.5 on IBM server(xeon processor, 500gb HD, 8GB RAM) which is a new one and no OS is loaded on to it til now. I have downloaded RHEL 6.5 64-bit from RED HAT website and made a bootable DVD. I tested the DVD on a normal PC, it worked and I successfully installed RHEL on the PC. But when I tried to install RHEL on IBM server with the same DVD, I am getting GRUB prompt on the screen and asking me to use GRUB commands. I tried to search in internet, but all I got is solution to get GUI after installing RHEL. But I was stuck on the Installation itself.

Can anyone help to explain how to move from that GRUB prompt and get a GUI to install RHEL.

Thank You

No, because you don't tell us what message(s) you got. Without knowing what is going on, we have no way of telling you what to do. However, since you have an IBM server and you're using Red Hat Enterprise, you are paying for support from BOTH vendors...the quickest way to resolve this is to call either Red Hat or IBM.

and you might want to use that Required redhat support contract that you are paying $799 to over $3600 per YEAR on
and use the support that you bought .

i am betting you will NEED to get a hardware driver ( for the hard drives ) FROM redhat to install it on the IBM

or from IBM they will have in on one of the disks you got from them
