Grub Issues

Hi all. I recently switched from Fedora to Sabayon, and now I'm having a Gruf2 issue. When I chose Windows seven, it pops up the win7 bootloader. But, the startup chime never happens. I got a friend of mine to read the screen, and they said that when I select the Win7 option, after a few seconds, the screen goes back to Grub. I checked /boot/grub/grub.cfg, and the Windows option is booting /dev/sda2, which, on expection of partitions, is system data. However, I do have a /dev/sda3, where my Windows files are. Is Grub booting to the right partition? Any help would be welcome.

Log in to a terminal as root user, run the command: fdisk -l(lower case Letter L in the command) and post the output.
Post the menuentry for windows from the grub.cfg file.
Run the command: blkid to compare the uuid from grub.cfg with the actual uuid and post here.

To get the most detailed information on drives/partitions and boot files, google 'bootinfoscript' and go to their site download and run it (instructions are in a link in the Description box on the page) and post the output here.
