Grub init on unlisted raid partition

I've got a mobo with an HPT370 raid which is configured with 4 physical drives, 2 as raid 1 for windows, 2 as raid 1 for RH 8.0.

I want to use grub as the main boot loader and to offer both raid channels (Windows and Linux). Now, complicating things a touch, both OSes have been installed and can boot separately, no problem.

When I upgrade Linux, I would normally just tell it to recreate the boot and specify the appropriate partition. In this raid case, it doesn't offer the Window partition as a boot alternative.

I've never used grub outside of the regular RH installer.

Is there a grub expert (non-Aboriginal) out there that could help me with the proper command line?

Thanks!!

BB
